Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) Policy

This page is Streams' public CSAE policy for the Streams mobile apps and streamsapp.io. It is the URL to provide when Google Play or another store asks for a child sexual abuse and exploitation policy.

Zero tolerance

Streams strictly prohibits child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This includes any sexual content involving anyone 17 or under, any content that sexualizes a minor, any attempt to groom, solicit, or exploit a minor, and any attempt to share, request, or store such material on or through Streams (including posts, stories, comments, profiles, and direct messages).

This ban applies whether the material is real, generated, or manipulated, and whether it is a photo, video, illustration, or text. Streams is not directed to children. You must be at least 13 (or the higher minimum age in your country) to use the Services.

How to report

If you see or suspect CSAM or CSAE on Streams:

1. Use Report in the app on the post, profile, or message when that control is available. That sends us the content context we need to act quickly.
2. Email safety@streamsapp.io with subject line CSAE report. Include URLs, usernames, screenshots if you have them, and when you saw it. Do not attach or resend the abusive media itself.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first, then notify us.

In the United States, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline is available at missingkids.org/gethelpnow/cybertipline. You may report there as well as to Streams.

What we do when we find or receive a report

• We review CSAE reports as a priority. We will remove CSAM and related exploitative content from Streams when we become aware of it.
• We may suspend or permanently ban accounts involved in creating, sharing, requesting, or attempting to share this material.
• We preserve relevant records as required for investigations and legal process, even if the public copy of the content is removed.

Law enforcement

We cooperate with law enforcement and child-protection authorities on CSAE matters, including responding to lawful process and making reports where the law requires it. That may include sharing account identifiers, content, and related logs as described in our Privacy Policy.
